Farmer Weatherbeard is a 27 minute epic of longnosed crones, talking birds, bickering couples, flying horses and magicians' duels. Rapunzel is 23 minutes, compelling, intimate, intense, and just in time to counteract what appears to be an unusually trivial Disney animation.
These satisfyingly substantial tales are complemented by infectious dance music from the Sweet Corn Broadcasters, and a couple of goofy folk nonsense "bits" for 60 minutes total runtime.
