Dear Tim and Leanne--
You know you've found just the right storytellers when all the evaluations say "More, more more!" Your unique dual presentation and beautiful music transported us all to farway places, and I know many of us were reluctant to come back. Thank you so much, the reality was even more astonishing than I had hoped.

Stowe Free Library (Performances 1991-1998)
For a number of years, we have invited Tim Jennings and Leanne Ponder to offer a program of Halloween Spine Chillers for adults, teens, and school-aged children. On an evening before Halloween, our library is filled with families, groups of teens, and even grandparents to hear these dynamic and beautifully timed presentations. On each occasion, they geared the program specifically to the type of audience, and they never failed to enthrall the entire group.

Concert attendance was excellent, and your performance was exceptional. Many, many individuals expressed their delight and enthusiasm for your concert performance. I thought you might like to see one concert-goer's impression, in the enclosed clipping from our local newspaper, "The Bennington Banner."

[Clipping] LIBRARY CONCERT A JEWEL "To The Editor-- I went to a wonderful program yesterday. It was the second of the 1996 Fall Concert Series at the Bennington Free Library. "Sheefra" was the name of the group. They performed Celtic music & folklore. The weather was so beautiful I almost didn't attend; I'm so glad I did, along with enough others to fill two rooms of our library. I want all the sponsors to know what a fine contribution they made to the community."

Dear Tim and Leanne-- I was just thrilled with the performance you gave here in June for the kick-off of our summer reading program. Your marvelous talent and your instincts for connecting with your audience make you, in my opinion, the most outstanding artists we have had in the 12 years I've been affiliated with the library. I have never seen parents quite so unreservedly enthusiastic about any of the performers we've brought in, though we've had some very good ones. It impressed them greatly that you invited the kids to try out your instruments, and were so patient with each and every one of them while they did. There was a lot of positive feed-back in the weeks following the program.

On a personal note, I must add that I found you both warm and down-to-earth, and truly enjoyed spending the afternoon with you. The fact that you stayed to help me put away the chairs was a sign of your humble and kindly natures... hardly necessary, but most appreciated!

I hope I can have you back for another performance in the furture, perhaps in conjunction with one or two other libraries in the area. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
